As Senior Vice President of Revenue Management, Rob Surdek is responsible for overseeing the daily revenue cycle management, credentialing and managed care contracting functions of Platinum Dermatology Partners. Rob has more than 27 years of extensive experience in both the payer and provider sectors of the healthcare industry where he has transformed organizations to accommodate accelerated growth plans through workflow redesign and optimal use of technology.
Prior to working with Platinum Dermatology Partners, Rob worked for a series of large revenue cycle enterprises including MedSynergies, Inc., Optum360 and MedicalEDGE Healthcare Group specializing in development of lean, scalable solutions that improved operational efficiencies, reduced error rates and optimized the overall patient experience. This work included expanding business development initiatives, building client management teams and strategic operational planning and integration of large multi-specialty physician groups into a single lean operating model. Rob earned a B.A. in history from the University of Vermont and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the American Society of Quality.
