
Kristine A. Romine, MD
A board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon, Dr. Kristine Romine founded Camelback Dermatology & Skin Surgery in Phoenix, Arizona in 2003. She has been honored 11 times as a “Top Doctor” by Phoenix Magazine since 2006, and is a highly respected and invited media personality for cosmetic dermatology and surgery. Dr. Romine has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, as well as magazine and print articles for nationwide news sources, and she has spoken on many local, national, and international stages. She holds a position as adjunct faculty at Midwestern University, Glendale, Arizona campus, educating medical students, residents, and physician assistant students.
Dr. Romine received her Medical Degree with highest honors, from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed a residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and a residency in Dermatology & Mohs surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine where she served as Chief Resident and is honored to be the first graduating resident. Dr. Romine remains an active fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Cutaneous Oncology Society, The Dermatologic and Aesthetic Surgery International League, Women’s Dermatologic Society, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology & Aesthetic Surgery. She is a board member at large for the Arizona Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Society and a founding member of the World Physicians Organization. She serves as the Arizona Representative on the American Academy of Dermatology Advisory Board and as a Board of Directors member with the American Society for Mohs Surgery. Dr. Romine also serves on the board of Evolus, and has served as a national trainer for Allergan, Galderma, Medicis, and Merz.
