ANGELA BOWERS, MD

A board-certified dermatologist and owner of Southlake Dermatology, Dr. Angela Bowers and her practice have received numerous awards and distinctions. Dr. Bowers has been honored with the “Healthcare Hero Award” by Fort Worth Business Press; as a finalist in Fort Worth Inc.’s “Entrepreneur of Excellence” (2016); “Colleyville Women’s Club Patron Award” (2015); Angie’s List “Super Service Award” (2013); Fort Worth Magazine’s “Top Docs” list (1999-2016); and Texas Monthly Magazine’s “Super Doctors®” (1999-2016). Southlake Dermatology has been honored in the Southlake Journal “Best of the Best” reader poll as “Best Dermatology” (1999 – 2016); Living Magazine, Northeast Tarrant edition reader poll as “Best Dermatologist” and “Best Place for Botox” (2015); and in the Star Telegram’s “Southlake Best of the Best” (2013).

Dr. Bowers received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University graduating summa cum laude and completed her medical school at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas where she graduated with honors in Alpha Omega Alpha honors medical society. Following her medicine internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Dr. Bowers completed her dermatology residency at UT Southwestern, serving as Chief Resident her final year. Dr. Bowers is a past president of both Dallas Dermatological Society and Northeast Tarrant County Medical Society.
